Privacy notice
This notice explains how the Rustcation beta handles account, Rust+ and operational data.

Account email, password hash, preferred language and session records; server address, port and Steam ID; encrypted Rust+ credentials; notification preferences; and server event history such as event type, grid and timestamps. We do not store your plain-text account password.
Why we use it
To create and secure accounts, connect the servers you choose, provide dashboards and event forecasts, deliver requested notifications, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and maintain the service.
Cookies and local storage
Rustcation uses an essential, HTTP-only session cookie for sign-in and local storage for your language choice. The beta does not include advertising or cross-site analytics cookies.
Service providers and transfers
Data may be processed by hosting, database, security and notification providers only where needed to operate Rustcation. Discord receives content when you configure a Discord destination. Infrastructure may process data outside your country, subject to applicable safeguards.
Security and retention
Rust+ credentials are encrypted before storage and session tokens are stored as hashes. We retain data while your account or connected server is active and for limited operational or legal periods afterwards. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may ask to access, correct, export or delete personal data, or object to or restrict certain processing. Requests may require identity verification and remain subject to applicable law.
